Long day for me today. Work to come home to getting word from my Hunny that Big Momma still has an infection in her teats so we loaded up and headed up to the vets office. On our way home, we stopped by a BBQ place to pick up lunch to bring home. When we got to Roger's Barn, we got a call saying the solar guys were outside our gate. . . While they were there Hunny got a call from our mechanic to say Big Blue was ready for pick up. Seemed like everything was happening one right after the other. After solar guys left, we went out to medicate Big Momma. Found Jake was outside the fence. . . While Hunny gave Big Momma her meds, I hoped over the fence to try to cokes him back over with no success. Hunny comes over when he was done giving meds. I went to get feed. We tried feed with no success. Jake has been halter broke so I went back to the cart to get a rope and once haltered and then feed incentive, he finally went over. I know at least one member who does the wild west kind of herding. Hunny is getting too old at 71. We used to but now, we tend to make life easier on us. We are not getting any younger and cattle, no matter if cow or bull will forever out weight us. After we went to pick up big blue, then had to go fix the fence where Jake got out.
