I've felt the same for a few months now, and I'm trying to stay away from the news, I don't watch it at all, and don't read as much anymore either. I can just feel it at my workplace, that all of this is about to come to a head soon. The system can't sustain this for much longer.

I'm doing another supply run today.
I've got this weird sense of foreboding. And no, I'm not convinced that I'm psychic or any of that nonsense. Maybe all the bad news is just getting to me. With how things are headed, it's hard not to be concerned.

My thoughts have been more on having enough small stuff lately- fittings, nuts, bolts screws, etc. Anything I may need to keep systems up and runnning.

I agree, I built a building last year thats 40 by 120 ft, and its totally stocked just like a hardware store, includes a shop and play room, its sits on 7 acres of very secure land!!!

Have all that stocked, even have titanium, my shop has milling machines, welders, lathes, end mill, and lots more, I can bout manufacture anything i want, Also have extensive gunsmithing supplys!

Grits, yum yum. Gotta use the real thing and know how to cook 'em right though. Forget all that instant and 5 minute imitation grits, it's impossible to make them right. We had grits with supper a couple of nights ago.

Mig welding is very easy, also stock up on specialty brazing rods, , Ones that you can weld alum, cast or other metals with!!!

Doc, get the real stone ground corn grits, the fake frozen grits and instant grits taste like crap!

Year's ago I went to visit my hillbilly family in Tennessee. They fed us "cat heads". I thought they meant the real thing. No grits though.

One cup of grits, 4 cups of water, a lil salt and peper, bring to boil , cover and cut heat off, stiring occasionaly till they thicken, best grits ever!
