Long, a senior flight surgeon at the U.S. Army Flight School at Fort Rucker, Alabama, testified along with two other military flight surgeons, Lt. Col. Peter Chambers and Col. (Ret.) Stewart Tankersley.
Chambers said he has had to delay his plan to retire in 2023 because he developed demyelination of his central nervous system after being vaccinated.
OMG, my Dad was a fighter pilot and may have actually known this Lt. Col. Peter Chambers, if it's the same person. He often spoke of a Pete Chambers while attending the War College at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery Ala . He dropped that name more than once over the years, which would indicate to me Dad knew this person quite well professionally. I was only 11 that year, so I could be wrong. Dad always came home on days he had to go get clearance from the flight surgeon's office to continue flying annually and told Mom whether he LIKED a flight surgeon or not because he never got sick to my knowledge in my entire life and dreaded the annual visit to the FS. He didn't like to go to doctors much at all actually. Let's just say we definitely knew when he DIDN'T like an FS.
This is why. (Aside story): In 1960 at the hospital that served the military in Teheran, Dad was stationed with the ARMISH MAAG liason group in Teheran. The flight surgeon there scratched his cornea so badly doing some test they do where they drop a little weight in the eye (don't know what it measures) Dad had the worst pain I ever saw him experience in my life that night. He was climbing the walls calling the F.S. an S.O.B., and Daddy wasn't much of a cusser unless he was REALLY mad. Dad returned to the hospital the very next morning, I can tell you, to "discuss" it.
What a small world.
