many of them are daily, you should see the empty shops in British high streets.
It really isn't the governments (tax payers) job the come up with alternative fuels. When and if there is a need, and at a reasonable cost, then someone in the private sector will develop the next great fuel. But really, why bother at this time when we already have an abundant source of clean reliable fuel that will last at least a thousand more years based on today's known reserves? The point is the government is doing the "Chicken Little" routine and the sky has not fallen but is not doing anything else either. They demand more money as an incentive for people to change their ways but offer nothing in return. Yes many folks are doing their bit but they don't try to force their neighbors to pay for it. The businesses will join the band wagon when there are enough customers. When the governments stops funding non-essential programs and starts focusing on alternate fuel conversions, then I will start to believe them. Until that point, it is all just money raising B.S.

Absolutely. Modern fuels, processing and extraction methods have never been cleaner. And getting cleaner every day. But nothing is without emissions. Even a horse emits methane gas.Clean?
That's a good point. But I think it's about making sure the environment can handle the level of emissions without causing climate changes that will be dangerous to the future of life on earth, and that's where a lot of the debate comes in to the picture. Some would say that there is a significant difference between the methane produced by a horse and the emissions produced in the process of refining and burning fossil fuels, when it comes to the impact on the environment. Personally, I don't think we should all stop driving cars, but I do support efforts towards solar power and other clean/renewable energy sources with minimal environmental impact, and I am glad they are becoming more popular and more affordable.Absolutely. Wonder when humans are going to be blamed for this?

you'll have to when the filling stations are empty and the power is down!

I can store enough fuel for a few months, after that I don't reckon i'll be going very far so lack of fuel wont be an issue.I have enough fuel for over a year, power down any longer than that or world ran dry of oil then I figure we’ll all be in the same boat
The trucks is what helps keep the property sustainment running as it does.
