How the ****ing hell has the US authorities allowed this to happen ???

Rely on the government to protect us you say !!! I say go F*** yourselves if you think this is a first world government helping its citizens.

I simply cannot express just how outraged and utterly disgusted by this heart tearing image, and I cannot understand how such an OUTRAGE against basic humanity was allowed to happen when the authorities had DAYS of notice. Shame shame on those who let that happen. First world nation my arse.

You need to find another news source with better Photoshop capabilities.

99% of the BS you post from Daily Mail UK is complete rubbish.

That senior citizen shot is an obvious fake edit...and a low quality fake at that. Shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet.

You are a F**ing arsehole of the highest order the image I have used if from FOX and a seperate Texan news agency.

David Popoff, an emergency management coordinator, confirmed 15 people were rescued from La Vita Bella, an assisted living facility in Dickinson, about 30 miles south of Houston.

“We were air-lifting grandmothers and grandfathers,” Mr Popoff toldThe Galveston County Daily News, hours after the viral photo emerged showing at least eight people, and one cat, sitting in a room with muddy water up to their waists.

The photo was shared by Timothy McIntosh, who told the paper that his mother-in-law, Trudy Lampson, owned the nursing home.

So what? Your photo is still in obvious fake...a low rent one at that.

And what's with your obsession with American problems silent?

The Daily Mail is a British daily middle-market[2][3] tabloid newspaper owned by the Daily Mail and General Trust[4] and published in London. It is the United Kingdom's second biggest-selling daily newspaper after The Sun.[5] Its sister paper The Mail on Sunday was launched in 1982 while Scottish and Irish editions of the daily paper were launched in 1947 and 2006 respectively. Jonathan Harmsworth, 4th Viscount Rothermere, a great-grandson of the one of the co-founders, is the current chairman and controlling shareholder of the Daily Mail and General Trust, while day-to-day editorial decisions for the newspaper are usually made by a team around the editor, Paul Dacre.

A survey in 2014 found the average age of its reader was 58, and it had the lowest demographic for 15–44 year olds among the major British dailies.[6]

The Daily Mail has been accused of printing sensationalist and inaccurate scare stories of science and medical research[10][11][12][13] and of copyright violations.[14]

the pic is showing them stranded and flooded...now i ask..what else is wrong with the pic?

I've done my share of photo manipulation in college. LOOK at the image very closely. That is not the original version of the photograph. I never said this nursing home didn't get flooded but this photograph is an obvious misrepresentation of what actually happened.

The water has been edited to appear much higher than it originally was. LOOK at the calm relaxed expressions on their faces.

What I find more disturbing than this photograph is the fact that major news agencies are using it. I can no longer believe ANYTHING I read on the internet. I have lost complete faith in the media.
