Hi,
I will be part of the Aussie contingent although I live in Vietnam 8 mths of the yr. I have been semi retired for the past 6 yrs and work in Australia as a training manager.
I live in a part of Vietnam that does not have many English speaking people but survive quite easily.
I do have to be prepared for emergencies and have a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for every contingency. I have a wealth of knowledge on weapons, fighting, survival, small boats, 4x4 driving, communications, first aid etc.
It is amazing what can be found on forums (I cured my Kidney Stone for 10 cents) and You Tube DIY (unlimited gadgets and useful DIY items to suit the novice to advanced prepper).
I don't anticipate writing too much in the prepper's forums but recommend knowing the area you are living in and any area that you might move to (prior to moving). I always carry an SAS Survival Pocket Book when I go into a bush environment and recommend the SAS Escape and Evasion Book - more than anything else they give you things to think about or do when you're bored or have some free time.
I look forward to reading all the prepper forums.
