I hate to tell you, but from what I read the latest Microsoft browser, Edge, is an IE front end with a Google Chrome back-end architecture. But I think that's just the technology. The back end architecture isn't actually tied to Google's servers, it's just the code. I guess MIcrosoft saw that Google had a better browser, code-wise, but if you want to get away from it altogether you might want to shift to Firefox.
I just dumped my firefox because they blocked Trump. Downloaded BRAVE and use DuckDuckGo now. I have blocked all other search machines and use no other internet access now. As I move to any website, the top toolbar shows me how many Trackers and Advertisement crap has been automatically blocked without me doing anything...LOVE IT , GPif you want to get away from it altogether you might want to shift to Firefox.
I'm using it since a while now and i'm happy with it - just can't tell for sure if it's collecting data too. But so far i'm having less spam and no annoying 234 times to click "yes i agree" like in google.I just may have to give that one a shot! Thank ya.
