I had plants that were brown and crunchy and with rain, the have risen from the dead.Geez! Weeks of little rain, high temps and crunchy grass. Now in the last 5 days we have received almost 6 inches. Feast or famine....

Yep. I water everything every other day and it takes about 10 hours to get it all watered. Much of our property has deep soil so it'll stay green (normally) until the first of August. The areas with shallow soil have already turned brown. It's possible that we'll be able to graze this year until October. Our dry climate is why it takes 20 acres to support 1 cow.So you have to irrigate all of your crops?
