Haha riden. They were standing under a bush trying to stay dry. The moms took the chick into the apartment. It would have drowned her, it was so hard. I have about 6 inches of sand in the run though.
Took my nephew fishing down at the creek, and we got caught in a downpour. It was barely sprinkling for a long time then it let loose all of a sudden.

It’s good to teach him that you can can catch fish in the rain.
We keep many inches of sand in our run too. Much easier to shovel out every three months! Helps keep the smell way down too.
Are the little dots beside the Alerts new or have I not been paying attention?

We're up to 106º at 5pm. The humidity is awful today, too, making it like daggers afire stabbing you when you step outside in the sunshine. The guy doing some minor roof soffit/eave work for us for the last week had to go home at 3pm today. He around 56+ and just couldn't take it anymore. Of course, if he got her at 7am instead of 8:30 and some days 9 am, he would be working in cooler temps IMHO. Our last contractor used to come at 7am and knock off at 3:30-4pmeverytday, but sadly they went out of business this past year.

It was 79 degs and 43% humidity yesterday. Had to turn the AC on last night about 11pm. Too hot to sleep. I have to go down south tomorrow to pick up some lumber. Its supposed to be over 100 down there. I'd rather stay in the mountains.
Down here in "steamy hot Georgia", it is 72° (22°C) right now. It's 3° cooler outside than inside.
