Turned on a business channel and the guy was saying buy gold and silver. Held up a dollar bill and crumpled it. Said they just keep printing this stuff. He wouldn't call it money.
Does anyone else see an economic crash coming?

Joe just recently said that the banking system in the US is safe, right??? At the moment the whole of Russia is laughing at Joe's statement.
I think Joe didn't mean it seriously or didn't know what he was talking about, because after these words he fled to the basement, I think he lied.
The problem will be that the ordinary citizen will lose his savings again through the crap while Joe and his friends have already put their money aside.

How many billions were made in the last few days shorting all of these banks? Then they will cash in their shorts, as Brandon says he will rescue all of the banks, causing their value to go back up, screwing over the little guys trying to get a taste. I mean, someone has to pay for all of that loss. It's always the little guy.

Biden's plan is to crank that printing press up into high gear and print his way out of the mess he has created . Ain't going to work in the long run . --- Someone just stopped in at my survival retreat and reported he went to one of our small home town banks and had the bank manager show him the bank's balance sheet . The bank manager claimed they were in good financial shape to face this Biden catastrope . --- The thing is even if the solvent banks remain operational over the next weeks , unless the idiots in Washington's Capitol reverses courses this Delima will only worsen each day . Unfortunately the folks that gained their ill gained power in Washington are too stupid and too arrogant to reverse course .
In Europe, the printing press is no longer effective, if you print more money then inflation will go through the roof, which is already too high.
The last few years with non-stop money printing have led Europe to the abyss, those responsible are already in the starting blocks to flee, the whole thing is a dead end that in the end the people have to pay for.

50 gallon drum buried in ground with air tight lid (twist lid)...top is flush with top of ground, covered with the dirt. Certain identifiable only to us "things" surround... could be weeds, could be rocks, a structure, a tree, debris, whatever. You'd never know it is there if ya didn't know it was there...good hiding place for lots of things?

It is the same minister who said not long ago "firms can't go bankrupt, they just stop to produce and paying bills", isn't it?
That does suck. One good thing is that you have more like minded people and the ability to protect yourselves, or at least the right to protect yourselves.

people mostly come to my county on holiday/vacation or on business and that is mostly on the South Coast not where I live.

I just got an email from a woman at a local bank I used in the past. She wanted to tell me I am approved for any loan I'd want. She said if I had an auto loan somewhere else, they would see if they could get me a lower rate.
We got email notice today from local credit union telling us essentially not to worry, money is safe and no jeopardy..."reassurance" going out to their customers.

It appears the small hometown banks are staying afloat for now . This gives preppers perhaps a few more weeks to make preparations for what seems to be initiable going to happen . I am not giving financial advice , but my goal is to be able to walk up to the county court house and pay my property taxes , regardless as to whether there is any banks , cash within whether checks , debit cards or credit cards is a thing of the past . --- Even after a total bank collapse I expect creditors and tax collectors will be operating and foreclosing on unpaid balances .

Your forecasting, what I´m also very convinced of. We all need to be able to pay our financial obligations and loans (that´s why getting out of depth should be one of our primary targets).
Our glorious states and banks will come for "their part". They won´t forget and will collect "their" money, even if month have passed. At least then we have to be able to pay in cash (or a equivalent) or loose everything.
