I'd expect that coming from a woman. Cats suck, dogs rule. Everybody knows that.
Every year, the air show wrecks my egg production. I have two eggs today.
Mine sleep on the same bed.

Our ducks are supposed to arrive at the post office today. I think the chick's show up next week. It's still getting cold at night, so we'll have to setup the brooder in the shop. The wife wants to start them in the house.
I have had chick's in the laundry and it was a mistake. Chicken dust ended up everywhere.

Yep. Animals stay outside. Of course she's quick to remind me of the times when I'd bring in a new born calf and lay it in front of the wood stove. Woman logic.
Wouldn't it be great to have a bunch of these and have them playing bumper cars.

My new littlest ones are in the greenhouse for a bit longer. They are growing fast!
Mine are eating and drinking so much. I am moving them to a dog kennel tomorrow. Will need to wrap in netting to stop any escapes.

We just picked our chick's up at the post office. We ordered: 4 Bielfelders, 4 Red Star, 7 Dark Brahmas, 6 Neiderhiners, and 3 Salmon Favrealls.
Next week we have 2 Columbia Wyandottes, 15 Ginger Broilers and 6 ducks coming.

A customer did not pick up 6 dozen eggs so now need to preserve them. Is the best way to put them in the freezer in ice trays? I don't eat eggs so I'm at a loss.
Someone gave me some clear plastic egg cartons. I washed, sprayed with oil and filled with the eggs that were 2 weeks old. One broken egg takes two slots.

We put our excess eggs in a bucket of lime water. Then store under the house. Not sure how long they will last but we've eaten them after 6 months or so.
