Still about 3 hours south of the daughters house. Hit rain and snow most of the way. Think I'll stop in the next town for a few cold ones. The next town is on the indian reservation. It'll be good experience for the grand kid.

Hey GG. We are safe. Our yard is a mud pit. It was really close though. My lay persons thinking is that when these weather systems hit the water that is around us, it dispurses the weather in another direction.

We had an emergency call last night over two hours through the mountains away. It was raining so hard I drove 10mph alot of the time. Hardly needed the lights on with all the lightning flashes. Beautiful in its own way though. Got the electrical systems working on a plaza, (mostly at least) and am off for another emergency this morning with about 5 hrs of sleep. The business likes storms. My body, not so much....
DD Smyrna, had it pretty bad 22 houses so far. Glad you are okay.

Post from a local college student. . . Y’all, I’m tired of being a college student that has to work 30+ a week to pay my bills and not even have leftover money for anything else. I’m tired of not having time to do homework at the end of the day because I work approximately 6-8 hours a day, 5 days a week and would like to exercise to keep myself healthy too. I’m tired of being too busy and ending up not doing my homework at the end of the night because I need me time. I cannot wait to graduate and have just my job and a social life. Not my job, school, a social life, and whatever else I have going on. Please pray for all of the college people in your life. Sincerely, a tired, wait no, exhausted, college girl.
I know she comes from a very good family and I still have honestly good hopes for her, At her age I was going to college and working 2 jobs. But then again that was years ago. . .
