I have to say some days I hate the prepper name that we all get. just 30 years ago this was a normal way of life for people. My mom always had a basement full of home canned goods and everything else that would be needed. We never knew if crops might fail, or a really bad winter would occur so therefore we made sure that we had enough just in case. But that was the way that people lived and survived. Now it's all go to the store aily and when something bad happens no one has a backup plan in place.
However I hear one thing daily that so ticks me off. People say that preppers are crazy, and that God will save them when something bad happens. I am sorry but you can pray until you are blue in the face but God isn't going to hand you a table full of food. People think that faith will save them. Ever notice how when something really bad happens dead bodies are always found in the churches??? Volcano erupts head for the church, God will save us, Quake happens head for the church, God will save us. Yeah right.
The only one that will save me during a SHTF scenario is me, not God. Sure prayer will help calm me down a bit, but he sure isn't going to hand me free food, and T. paper.
