That reminds me of firearms training courtesy of the US Army... they'd take a guy - pick one, have him hold the butt of an M16 on his junk and shoot. Not enough recoil to hurt.....

Always thought that was funny, but not nearly as funny as some idiot doing it with a shotgun.....

I know one guy who killed his bed with a shotgun he never told anyone how he managed it,,,,,and I know another who shot himself in the foot with a 22 not once but twice,,,,,,,SAME FOOT BOTH TIMES,,,,,,,

And a friend of mine who is a duck hunter didn't want to leave his 10 gauge duck gun cocked. He didn't think it was loaded, but it was. He killed the dresser in his bedroom and burst one eardrum.... scared the crap it of his (now ex) wife!

Sadly I think some of our British genes still get spread among the folks in the US, it comes from the shallow end of the gene pool that is often displayed by people starting off by saying " Here hold my beer whilst I ..........................................."
