Yep, I always have a little LED flashlight on my keychain. It's come in handy too many times.
I also carry a Swiss Army Knife, and a few wallet multi-tool cards. I used to carry a Leatherman, but just too bulky.
Besides, my truck is right in sight of my window, and has my GHB, as well as a life emergency bag (for life's little hiccups), a road emergency kit (which has tools and even a gas siphon kit), and all kinds of other goodies. I can't foresee much that would keep me from reaching it. (especially as an exit and stairs are literally within 10' of me).
Most days, I have my laptop bag with me too, which has kind of some mini EDC considerations stored in it.
I forgot to mention that knife is actually an assisted opening knife. It is not a fix blade, I think of it more as a tool than a weapon, if I had to use anything in my EDC for self defense it would be the Mini-Mag as a Kubaton. Using the knife in self defense would land me in a lot of trouble where I live. At night I typically replace the Mini-Mag with either my 2D mag or a 4D Nikota Flashlight. A little bit bulkier and brighter, then my Mini-Mag. I prefer Incandescent lights over LEDs because the Incandescent lights have better throw, at least on my budget.
my everyday carry 3A mag light has come in handy quite a few times,in minor situations, where the extra light comes in handy....and my 2D flashlight comes in handy at night, around here.especially when shining it out into the field behind where i live.great way to spot deer..
