don't they have DOCK LEAVES in the US, its what we as kids always used if taken short.
I personally think we need protocols in this field, basically people are lazy and if these protocols are not implemented to the letter,we have out breaks of shits and flu like wild fire..and still it's hard to contain these.
let's say the day something nasty comes by,i do hope I have some days off and my phone has no "battery" just that day....
tried to day some protective clothing at work, crap it gets hot in them...
I had a job once, in S cal, mid summer, doing hazardous waste disposal. Had to wear taped up Tyvek coveralls, or sometimes, full raingear, Scott airpacks, face shields. Had to rotate-out the guys every 20 minutes, 40 minutes to cool off, repeat, 12 hour shifts.. Man, did that ever inhale SHARPLY. Pretty good wage for the time, about $40 an hour in today's money.
I was using a hydro blaster that damned near shoved me around every time that I pulled the trigger. At the end of the shift, my boots had a qt of water in each one, first day. I thought that I'd had a hole in each leg of the suit. Next day, same thing. that was SWEAT.
My wife did point out that all the food fresh or canned that we buy has been touched by another human,
thats why i wont buy most fresh produce at wal mart..mainly the grapes.on account people reach in.and help them shelf to some grapes.and who knows how many of them haven't washed their hands..
Yep, anything fresh. Especially meat. How many of you wash your meat when you get home? When we go shopping I usually buy the larger packages of meat to get a better price or that is just how they have them packaged when on sale. Once I get home and before I repackage into freezer bags for meal portions I wash/rinse the meat before I put them into the bag. Then marinate/season if desired and then label and date the bag. That is probably why people get sick from meat, there not washing the bacteria away.
I worked in the food industry back in the late 80's into the early 90's and if you knew what I know you would be very picky. Especially restaurants, I never buy a burger unless it is frozen or comes from fast food. burgers are slow movers. I once had an owner tell me to take some stinky ### chicken dump the bucket, rinse the chicken with some bleach water, let it soak and then rinse and put back in the bucket with fresh water. It stunk bad. If you think a cook drops a food item they will throw it away and cook fresh you are mistaken. They will pick it up throw it on the grill and flip it around a few times and then serve it. I saw another cook spill half a bucket of sausage gravy and he took a dirty dust pan scoop the gravy back into the bucket and then stir it all up. No pennies lost there. I'll quit now before you throw up.
PS
Never go to a buffet at the opening of it. Wait until half way of its opening hours. The old food is served first to get rid of it.
Yuck.
Part of the reason why I'm a vegetarian.
