I have 2 more auctions I would like to go to and after that,,,I will avoid the crowds
Looks about like what's happening here in my county. We had a retirement community hit pretty hard just this past week. It's not even a "nursing home" for people with health problems, just a community for older people (who don't want to live around all the youngsters, I guess). So with all the people out and about without doing any social distancing and wearing masks, I started to chart the infections in my county. Increase in deaths take about 10 days to catch up to increase in new infections.
They should test all upon arrival and quarantine them until the tests are negative.New Zealand started out with the goal of flattening the curve to prevent our health are system being overwhelmed. We ended up having 24 consecutive days with zero new cases (which ended today when two people returned from overseas with covid-19). We're lucky because we have no land boarders. But our borders are our achillies heel when it comes to covid-19.
Normally they quarantine for two weeks but they made an exception for compassionate reasons. They've said in the future a negative test result will be needed before a compassionate exemption is given. They should test all upon arrival and quarantine them until the tests are negative.

Too little too late. Not even a week with zero active cases and they've already slacked off
Yes, being rich enough gives automatic exemption. Our government thought we wouldn't noticeHave you still got the uber rich dot com billionaires arriving in South Island ??
We as a nation in general have learnt nothing and act like covid-19 never reached our shores. People were justifying their actions by saying "there's no active cases, we're safe".I am seeing queues of people on the news crowding into newly reopened clothing stores, no social distancing, so I expect there will be a second wave of infection.
Already started here. Actually we mostly dodged the first wave so this is really the first wave for us - finally hitting due to people not distancing anymore.I am seeing queues of people on the news crowding into newly reopened clothing stores, no social distancing, so I expect there will be a second wave of infection.
