Yes, there are lots of small downed trees there, it is below a flat field and in a ravine which is closed on one end. I would paint it with brown and green instead of the white and silver, cover the sides with mud and throw moss and grass bushels with dirt still in the roots on the roof. The dirt will kill the warmth emanitating from the roof of the trailer if you heat in winter. An extended exhaust pipe on the heater chimney which has cooling wings or rings will slow down the production of steam from the heater in colder days also. The exhaust has more time to cool down then. The trees will change the outline and cover it also.Do you have a way to camouflage your camper using hunters netting and cut limbs once you get there
Branches will be cut from the same type of surrounding trees but not from the same place. That would make a cleaned out area which will also give you away. They must be cut from somewhere further away and drug in and also changed out for fresh ones as they start getting older and wilt or fade to brown. You must use alternative walking in routes so that a visible "trail" which would give your position away does not become visible. Never take the same way in more that 2-3 times, watch for broken limbs, footprints or such which give a signature of your presence. Let the grass stand back up again before you come in the same way again. Anything which can reflect is painted flat black or even screwed off, windows are covered with material which can be moved to let light in or cover them. The toilet will be still used with a 12 V battery and solar charged and the LED lights are also 12 V. I have 3 bottles of propane, one 6 kg and 2 X 11 kg. All cooking is done with the doors and windows closed so the good smells cannot be detected by strangers. Oil the doors well so they do not squeak at all. The emptying of the toilet must be well away from the hideout, buried well and camo is needed also there. The smell can carry a long way, no soap or shampoo, deodorant or perfumes allowed. The smell carries too far. (Unscented soap or homemade from sand, lye out of the ashes and a bit of lard)
Lots to think about and plan, start now to get things together if possible. Camo is the only way to not be seen, smelled or heard. Strict rules of light and sound, especially at night, all lighting is green, blue or red to not carry far if you or someone opens a door and forgot to turn it off beforehand. Questions? Take notes and remember...Gary
