This is a first for me. My neighbor saw an armidillo last night. Ive never seen a live one and only a dead one very seldom on the the roads.
An Air Force guy just reported to the guy on Full Spectrum Survival that they have been told that something BIG is coming. To prepare their families to be ready for no communication. To prepare for the grid to go down in the USA. He also says the military are preparing for cyber attacks across the country. Test your preps folks!

I think it was last year one was "hopping" across yard like a bunny wabbitt near edge of dark...I think I posted it here maybe with pic...cute!

BOL1 is infested with them. Some food plots will always have one or two out in the food plot rooting around. After hunting season we have "Armadillo Patrols" and kill dozens of them.
There aren't any at BOL2.

Haven't seen one of these in decades. Black racer (we call them "black runners"). They usually hightail it when you come across one. This one was doing his best to ignore me. I had a machete and was trying to use it to shoo him away from camp, but he just kept going around me. I finally just let him go where he wanted.
They aren't supposed to get over about 6 ft long but I could have sworn this guy was 7 ft. His body kept going and going and going. I didn't get all of it in the shot.

I always heard stories black racers will chase you..lol

Never seen a black racer. Almost stepped on a red racer. Fortunately I recognized as a non venomous shaped head

This is the only snake I've ever seen here. Lots of snakes at BOL1...cottonmouths (mostly cottonmouths), copperheads, rat snakes, timber rattlers, water snakes, black runners...but not here, not even in the marsh where I would have expected to see cottonmouths and water snakes.
