It's not St. Patty's day yet, but I made cornbeef n cabbage n potatoes yesterday. Today I opened 2 quarts of great northern beans I had canned months ago added chicken bone broth for more liquid, and threw in kelbasa, had pork chops w mushroom gravy, rice and had to make some Mac n cheese (smoked gouda) for my son on side...

Hubby and I love Lemon Chicken. I tried a new recipe yesterday, which is now our favorite!

Photo from recipe, but my chicken turned out the same.

Pizza last night! Son brought a large one and brought here, from local pizza place..was good!

Larry made gumbo today for him since I hate his gumbo! So, I had a salty piece of ham steak, mashed potatoes, Italian green beans that Larry also made. I'm thankful to have someone cook since I'm working too late, BUT!
Thank God it's weekend and I can cook next 2 days!

Might be bologna sandwiches! Who knows! 😋

Thursday night-my preps rotation corned beef hash. 👍
Friday night- Fancy famous chef restaurant For my wife’s birthday. Figured out how to imitate the meat And will. One ingredient short on the incredible Smoked Old Fashion.
Saturday- I take her to the best places

No sillies, it’s the place in the lighted part of the sign. Just happens to be next to the strip club. Talk to the locals when you are out of town. One of the best Mexican places I have ever been to.
Tonight- back to my browned butter pasta.

I made this recipe but can be converted to outside camping fire in a Dutch oven in a heartbeat, I ended up making my own cornbread type dressing though. Sorry we are southern here and don't really like a Yankee type dressing but I can handle some bread as long as it has some cornbread mixed in. You just kinda wing it to suit your own taste but it is really good. I have no idea why pages turned sideways.

Trying to figure out how to use this Jalapeño cornbred for dinner tonight.
I am never opposed to cornbread, I figure it to be a plus 1 or 2 to my cast iron seasoning. Think she made this in that pan with the chicken was in And not one of her fancy pans.
