Glad to see it wasn't s bad as it could have been, at least initially. The plywood over the windows does slow down the looters, too.
One thing I need to get on...just so damn pricey. I mean, it's near $20 a sheet, so we're looking at about $140 or so, just for the wood alone. Not to mention, I have a concrete block house, so that's a LOT of concrete hole drilling....for us being so far inland.

I hate osb! Yet I still used it on the new building as it's the only affordable option. 1/2" plywood was 17 and change. Osb was right at 10.00 so it won.Yikes. I'd never get anything done at that price, lol. As it is, I often get chip board where I can use that instead (as it's more like $10 a sheet).
You suck.... At that kind of price I'd consider buying a semi load and resale it on the east coast.
That's a great resource to have around. I always said that if I built another house in fla it was going to be made with 3/4 inch toungue and groove plywood. Floor, walls and roof. I wanted hurricane proof. It never happened as it was way too expensive to consider.I have plywood mills all around me, 46 smaller scaled mills not counting the big boys like weyerhaeuser just on the west side of the cascades, not counting in the cascades or the east side of the state
