I finished cleaning my summer garden in time to plant fall veggies I had started in the greenhouse. Garlic is doing very well as are the broccoli, mustard greens and brussel sprouts. Covered all but the greens up a few days ago because of the unusual cold for November here.

Color me green with envy with the gardening setup!!
ALERT! Please spread the word to everyone. Our corrupt, trying to kill us all government has changed the hardiness zone map! Those of us who know our local weather won’t follow these new planting dates, but tons of new gardeners will. The problem with that is they will lose their crops. With food going ever higher, I see a lot of newbie gardeners getting tricked and screwed out of food their family needs!
As we all know, the cold spells have come both earlier and later. I have lost much of my fruit for 3 years now. Should have planted trees that bloom later. I will be planting additional fruit trees that are the late blooming type come early spring. We’ve also had periods of warmer weather. This can be very tricky for new gardeners.
