A lot of this whole controversy regarding trans-gender identity can be solved easily with science. People can identify as whatever they feel or choose, but it doesn't change scientific facts. Gestation is what occurs after a an egg is fertilized by a sperm cell and produces a zygote which grows into and embryo, which then implants in the uterus and develops until birth. Sperm cells by themselves cannot gestate anywhere. This is straight up delusional.

as far as I can see, the more civilised a society gets, the more stupid its citizens get.

I get a laugh when I hear on the news that this Democrat candidate does better among college educated voters with a degree. Yeah, its because there mostly educated idiots! Just because you have a degree from a socialist liberal university, does not mean you can make the correct decisions on voting. I see these same people everyday doing there jobs in there supposed professions and many working as a server in a restuarant and the vast majority are incompetent at both.

You don't have to tell me, I was in that world for far too long. Liberal Arts Professors have their heads stuck up their arses so far they can't walk around their ivory towers without tripping over each other. They really have no clue how the real world works. Engineering Professors, on the other hand, are still pretty much down to earth. Maybe because they are the ones that don't have problems with believing that 2+2=4. LOL

Depends on who you ask. The Chinese might say 1937, but that was an Asian War. You would probably say 1939 but that was a European War. It wasn't really a WORLD War until the Japanese dragged us into it in 1941.
