Probably my last post from Germany. We empty our house today and spent a couple days at my parents place. That gives them more time with their grandchild and more time for the little one to get spoiled rotten. lol. Its a weird feeling to be "home less". Not looking forward to a 9.5h transatlantic journey with a toddler and a Labrador in an airplane.
My next post will probably from our new house in the states. So long my friends!

hope lil one gets real spoiled..lol.have a safe trip/flight..hope you take pics of the flight..

Have a good trip Marv . I kind of like flying but the last time I flew I was sitting next to the wing and watching that big wing flex and bow in the tubulance made me kind of air sick .

Have a safe trip my friend, take care of your loved ones :)

kinda did some preps already, but tomorrow some more canned food stuffs..and I got my new stock for my 10/22,dragunov type, changed it,took about 5mins,must say,it came fast from US,tikka mountain tactical was the shop, stock spent more time with my customs ;) , the usual we need that form and this form...

I like the Draganov 10/22 stocks . Have done some reloading , started clearing off my garden spot from last years gtoth and fall leaves . Found a deal on Ebay on some black tactical BDU sets and won the auction cheap . Next project is to inventory and rearange some of my prepps to make more room and neater more organized storage . I should be good at that as part of my work is simalar but I leave work in the parking lot when I leave it .

tomorrow I will get some medicines and then do a inventory about what I have and how much...have some idea about how much but want facts for my book keeping.

Good point jontte. I have tons of old prescription meds and regular OTC meds in the house, but would be a good idea to organize, date them, and of course, look up those that are outdated that could do more harm than good.

I'm not as worried about them doing harm, just them just loosing their effectiveness. Is a good idea, I haven't rotated or organized mine in a while. I'm thinking about getting an AR this tax return. I guess thats going to be my main prep for a this spring.

Went for a 3-mile hike with my new BOB and was extremely dissapointed to find out that it is very uncomfortable on my neck and shoulders. I really liked that bag too, not too mention its 130 bucks down the drain. I'll probably try to sell/trade it and get something back for it but it's still darned frustrating. I was really happy with the way I had everything laid out in there. Oh well, looks like tomorrow I'll be checking out military surplus stores in San Antonio to see what I can find. No more ordering bags without trying them on first for me.

I added some more T.paper and Paper towels to my stock pile. I still need more but for now I am ahead of the game for that just in case moment. I also got me some extra cleaners put away this past week, and started adding to my canned goods again.

Testing out your gear is really, really smart! I have so much crap, I'd probably have to start dropping stuff after a couple miles! That reminds me, I need to rearrange some stuff. I have three bags. My main bag is the essential stuff. The second is stuff I could really use, and the third is mostly comfort/luxury items. If hard pressed I could dump two and three, but really wouldn't want to. I need to repack and prioritize what goes into #1.

I have several Military Surplus ALICE packs some like new that I have picked up over the years and dont have over $20 in any of them . They are comfortable to carry and do the job they were designed for .
I found some Winchester .22 LR's at the local big box . I bought 3 box's
