Swedish town uses chicken manure to help stop spread of coronavirus
STOCKHOLM, April 30 (Reuters) - A town in southern Sweden has turned to a traditional source to try to prevent the coronavirus spreading during an annual festive event on Thursday - chicken manure.

The university town of Lund began spreading chicken droppings in its central park to put off would-be revellers who would usually come on April 30 to celebrate Walpurgis Night.

Well, with all this speculation of what's being counted as a covid19 death and comparing it to the flu. It appears the flu deaths are actually speculated and made up by the CDC every year. The real death numbers from the flu every year is between 7k and 15k. This was done to help promote the phony junk flu shots.

Add up the bodies, the dead dont lie. Already this year, including China's fake low numbers, the average deaths (from all causes) so far this year, are up over 50% from previous years.

I dont see there estimate of 70k deaths being anywhere close to that. By my estimates we will have 270k + this year at best. Over a million in the next 3 years is very possable.

Why are the reported numbers so far off depending on source? Dr. Henley's numbers for US deaths on May 1 say 1,973 deaths, or 2,243 depending on which is for the first. I just saw this article claiming 2,909 for the first.

The US records its highest daily death toll as almost 20 states ease lockdown restrictions, WHO reports

This site claims only 1,330

Two things...

1-It depends on what time of day you collect the information. Different states report at different times. For the first report I use totals at 9am Eastern. For the afternoon report I use totals at 5 pm Eastern. Some states are VERY late reporting sometimes. Pennsylvania and Connecticut are particularly irregular in when they report. Both of those states have high enough numbers that it can throw off the daily death rate when they don't report until late at night.

The morning report has mostly numbers from the previous day because most states have not reported yet. I try to hold off on the afternoon report until at least all the states with over 1000 deaths have reported. But that is not always possible for the reason I mentioned above.

2-My numbers are for the whole United States, not just the 50 states. They include Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.

So, you think the 2,909 US deaths for May 1 is accurate? Thanks for the explanation on your posts.

No it's not. These journalists are just grabbing numbers from anywhere without any kind of critical thinking involved. I could report a much higher number than that if I took totals from 9am one day and 5pm the next day. I try to make sure I'm comparing apples to apples by paying attention to which states/countries have reported when I compile the reports.

Russia adds record 10,000 coronavirus cases in dramatic turnaround as Putin's problems stack up
Moscow (CNN)Russia reported 10,633 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, its fourth record single-day increase in a row, in what is becoming a major headache for President Vladimir Putin.

The country's total number of cases is now 134,687, the seventh-highest number in the world, in a dramatic turnaround from the situation back in March.
A total of 1,280 deaths has now been recorded, the country's coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement, adding that around 50% of the cases were asymptomatic. Moscow, the country's worst-hit city, accounts for more than a half of total cases.

Anger is rising among the country's health workers after two dozen hospitals had to shut down for quarantines, with many doctors falling sick. Russian independent media and non-governmental organizations have reported anonymous pleas from outraged medical workers who said they had been ordered to the frontlines without adequate protection, and that bureaucratic foot-dragging was costing lives.

The first article is from February, so the numbers are a little old.
Currently Taiwan has 438 confirmed cases and 6 deaths. Not much different that the county I'm in which has
336 cases and 7 deaths. Only Taiwan has a population of 23.8 million, any my county has a population of 194 thousand.
Taiwan Cases per Million Population: 18 - the lowest state in the US is Hawaii with 436
Taiwan Case Fatality Rate: 1%
Taiwan Deaths per Million Population: 0.3

The WHO should be giving Taiwan a seat of honor, instead they are shutting them out because China told them to.

https://www.scmp.com/news/china/pol...us-virus-threat-shows-unacceptability-beijing
Coronavirus threat shows ‘unacceptability’ of Beijing isolating Taiwan, US official says
  • ‘Our argument is bolstered by the outbreak,’ says Jonathan Fritz from the State Department’s Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs
  • Washington has supported calls for Taiwan to be granted observer status at WHO’s annual gathering, which Beijing has prevented Taipei from attending

Fast forward to today. Here is what the Trump administration is doing about it:
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dr...at-who-in-bid-to-push-back-at-china-influence
Draft proposal would bring Taiwan to the table at WHO, in bid to push back at China influence
The Trump administration has circulated a draft proposal that would bring Taiwan to the table at the World Health Organization in an effort to push back against China and punish the global body for being “too China-centric,” Fox News has learned.

Further, the administration’s national security team is even considering the creation of a new global health organization – one that would have more U.S. influence – among a range of options.

The move comes after President Trump last month announced he was suspending funding for the WHO altogether, amid accusations they helped China downplay the extent of the coronavirus before it became a full-blown pandemic.

The push to hit back against China’s influence at the WHO involves “all of government,” Fox News is told.

In recent days, both the State Department and U.S. Mission to the U.N. have tweeted to decry Taiwan’s exclusion from international bodies like the WHO – using a pro-Taiwan hashtag to press for their inclusion.
