There are trust issues with people now and we are not even in a SHTF situation......But I suppose those trust issues will be heightened during a SHTF event.
yes, that's my point, I don't trust many people now and that will go tenfold after TSHTF.There are trust issues with people now and we are not even in a SHTF situation......But I suppose those trust issues will be heightened during a SHTF event.

Think AgainI think the 'lone wolf' survivalist stereotype is a Hollywood invention.
Rules of engagement? As a prepper and a survivalist, my focus is on staying alive. Not to come across as cowardly, but I wonder if a lot of people have romantic ideas about guerrilla warfare from movies like Rambo, Red Dawn, Commando, etc..
I too have met many 'preppers' that almost seem to want the world to fall apart. They seem to have this romantic notion of living off the land and being happy and free.

In the real world, survival would be tough. I personally really like the modern world with all the luxuries it affords. Cars beat the hell out of horse and buggies. Having a doctor to go to, or take your sick child to, is a great thing. We take so much that we have for granted in life. I for one, really hope to never need any of the things I've worked on with prepping for survival.
