Question about bucket of soup mix.

I bought a bucket of 12 pounds of Argason famrs Vegetable Stew blend. Its in a plastic bucket and its lose. Should I open it and put it in two meal portions and vacuum seal it and then put it back into the bucket? Seems like it would help in case there was any breach into the bucket by moisture or mouse ect. Thanks.

That's what I'd do subdivide it into useable portions. Save the bucket and store in a cool dry place.
