Really starting to spread in the US. One locally (Raleigh, NC). Seems someone had visited the nursing home in Washington and the flew back to Raleigh transferring planes in DC and the to RDU airport in Raleigh. How many (if any) were infected on the plane trips that would then fly on to other locations?
Hopefully, it was early in the virus life-cycle and he was not contagious but this is how it spreads faster than the CDC can contain it.

Saw 150 cases in the us now. Probably 4 times that at least that are unconfirmed and not showing symptoms yet.

British scientist has said they have a corona virus vaccine which they will start testing on humans in April.

Chinese have allready injected one into one of their scientists and her team of six others. This was without animal trials. I think patience is a virtue comes to mind here. Yes we need an immunization for this quickly but I prefer one that’s proven safe first.

that's where the testing comes in, it still has to be approved for public use after that. then they have to manufacture it in huge quantities and get it out to the hospitals, pharmacies and family doctors.
What is a realistic timeline for developing a COVID-19 vaccine?
This guy says 18 months would be extremely fast. He is the guy who actually is running the vaccine development at Columbia University.

Wait tell the test kits become widely available and the criteria for testing widens, the map numbers have been wrong since day one, they have been way under reported and the criteria for testing have been to narrow.
