I guess The Sportsman's Guide and a couple other online stores will start getting My ammo orders now . Most of the Gun Shops and Tactical Shops price their ammo a bit to high . Bad call by WM .
That’s the problem, there really isn’t anyone else. Many of these small towns,Walmart is the only store. It was a bad call as it was not needed. They could have just kept quite and continued on. I usually shop at Wally World once a month. That is no over. I will find a different supplier. Anybody know who else is a low priced super market chain?
Seriously? Walmart is over 100 miles from my house. And in that distance there's 3 towns and at least a half dozen other grocery stores to choose from. I never did go to Walmart very often, now I'll never go there. That’s the problem, there really isn’t anyone else. Many of these small towns,Walmart is the only store.
Seriously.. it is at least down in the south. The mentality is, if you can’t get it Walmart, you can’t get it. Walmart is the life line of small towns. I do believe it is a part of their marketing strategy.Seriously? Walmart is over 100 miles from my house. I haven't spent much time in the south so I'll take your word for it. In my area I'm about 20 miles from town (500 pop) and there's one store in the county, population 2,500. The nearest Walmart to the south of me is around 100 miles. The next nearest Walmart is to the north about 150 miles. I'm not sure what you consider a small town but the two Walmarts here are in towns of around 8,000. Most towns here are 300-1500 population and all these towns have grocery stores. Fortunately we have a low enough population density to keep Walmart out of most areas in my State.Seriously.. it is at least down in the south. I live near Dallas, so there’s many retail options. My brother lives in a rural town and they make their Walmart trip weekly. In the larger towns, Walmart places a store about 7 miles from one another. They have it in their marketing strategy that 7 miles is about the max distance people are willing to travel to shop for common items found at Walmart.
I travel several times on vacation to Northern California, Oregon, and Washington state. I only saw one Walmart in Washington. There were far more local businesses. I really admired that when I visited. Down here, it is one big box store after another. Many shopping centers have the same stores clustered together. It’s monotonous and boring. Kroger doesn't sell ammo either. Now it's Kroger. We do shop there.
Companies that are doing all this personal shopping are actually losing money. Maybe it will payoff one day. It is a growing business. I wonder how it is effectig WalMart?
I don't know. . . Last year my company had just started it and was in the hole because of it but this year we are in the green because it has grown so much. Not sure but I think Walmart does offer personal shopping in some places. I don't think it is catching on much yet.

From what I gather its a lot of younger generation too busy and want to free up time. Seems like these are the ones who want quick and already prepared meals. We have also started the next day home delivery. I wonder how that is going to go over in the big cities?Very interesting. I wonder if it the young folks or home bound folks. All that I talk to do not like it and want to pick out their stuff (older folks).

I haven't either. I would rather pick out my own items shopping than have someone else do it for me.My Walmart offers it, but I have never used it.
My daughter does it sometimes, but they give her substitutions if they are out of something. I don’t know if she okay substitutes in advance or not, bu I don’t like that. I never buy fruits and vegetables at Walmart, but I could imagine those people who do, are disappointed with the selection they receive.I haven't either.
