My wife and I have been wondering why Albany GA had so many cases. Albany is not that far from here. We owned a restaurant in Albany a number of years ago and commuted from here.

One funeral with maybe one infected person and BAM! higher infection rate per capita than NYC.

This can happen anywhere, any time.

We just had a family gathering for Mother's Day down at my mom's house with 7 people. . . it only takes one. My biggest concern is my sister, which has a husband that works at a hospital with patients. He was not there due to the fact that he couldn't be certain that his patients didn't have Covid and yet. . . So far neither he or my sis has had any symptoms but it is unsettling especially since it would be a death sentence for her husband. I think my mom, even at her age would pull thru..

A contact tracer would then tell you to self-isolate in your home unless you need emergency care.

“That means not trips to the grocery store and no trips to family houses,” Inslee said.

A volunteer would then check in with you everyday for 14 days to see how you’re doing.
They’ll also reach out to everyone you’ve been in close contact with; so that’s anyone you’ve been within six feet of for more than 10 minutes.
This process may be tricky for families, because if one person in the house tests positive, then the whole family has to stay home, too.

I travel all over the country for work, and no city even approaches Seattle... it's called the "Nanny State" for a reason.
