Oops, apparently karma is real.

Missouri Residents That Snitched on Their Neighbors Are Suddenly Regretting Their Decision

Residents in Missouri were encouraged to snitch on businesses that broke Gov. Mike Parson's (R) stay-at-home orders. A website and email address were launched so residents could anonymously report non-essential businesses being open. What residents didn't expect, however, was for their personal information to be released.

Under Missouri's Sunshine Law, members of the public can access records and meetings. Jared Totsch decided to file a Sunshine Law request. When he received the information, he shared the information on Facebook.

“Here ya go. The gallery of snitches, busybodies, and employees who rat out their own neighbors and employers over the Panic-demic," the Facebook post stated.

Harvard Law Professor Adrian Vermeule suggests using the Chinese virus pandemic as an excuse to establish a new interpretation of the U.S. Constitution, implementing policies that do away with concepts such as “free speech ideology” and “property rights.”

Adrian Vermeule, a professor of constitutional law at Harvard Law School, recently wrote a piece for the Atlantic in which he argues that traditional interpretations of the U.S. constitution have “now outlived its utility,” and that it is now time for the government to take a more centralized role in people’s lives.

Vermeule argues that “circumstances have now changed” due to the Chinese virus pandemic, and that it is now possible to imagine “moral” constitutionalism, which he says is not “enslaved to the original meaning of the Constitution,” and is also “liberated” from the narrative of “relentless expansion of individualistic autonomy.”

That kind of thing is why we have the Second Amendment!

It didn't just magically appear in the home out of thin air. Someone had to catch it outside the home first and then bring it in. But yeah, we've known for a long time that once one member of a family gets it, the rest of the family usually follow. We saw that in Hubei Province where whole families were locked into their homes together and members of the family died at home and never got counted. And with so many people being asymptomatic, it's easy for one member of the family to be contagious and for the whole family to be unaware that they are being exposed.

I don't need a study to tell me what is just common sense.

I believe the choice to open businesses and those that want to work ought to be left to the people and not some bureaucrat in an ivory tower. It's a crapshoot whether we stay home or go to work. People should not be forced to lose their livelihoods and all that they built, as it is this draconian measures have no check and balances no accountability not even in the court system, Dan Crenshaw said it best "Small-minded 'leaders' across the country have become drunk with power."

DrHenley, just something that occurred to me regarding the latest spike.

The media is publicizing the fact that the Hospital are starting to empty out. He big boats are sailing away the tents are being taken down. If someone what treating themselves at home and see this information, maybe they are now thinking about coming forward and seeking treatment rather than just home treatment. This spike may be "uncounted" people coming forward. No question that new cases will continue but I think some people are now seeking treatment that never would have, a couple weeks ago.

I'm only looking at spikes in deaths. The infection rate is so grossly underreported those numbers don't mean anything to me. Deaths are something that are possible to actually count, even if there are inaccuracies in the numbers. There is no way of counting infections right now. The infection rate could be 100 times higher than the reported cases. I can guarandamntee you the death rate is not 100 times higher than the reported numbers (well maybe in China )

Travel From New York City Seeded Wave of U.S. Outbreaks
New York City’s coronavirus outbreak grew so large by early March that the city became the primary source of new infections in the United States, new research reveals, as thousands of infected people traveled from the city and seeded outbreaks around the country.

The research indicates that a wave of infections swept from New York City through much of the country before the city began setting social distancing limits to stop the growth. That helped to fuel outbreaks in Louisiana, Texas, Arizona and as far away as the West Coast.

there more deaths, under reported. Look at the daily deaths from all sources in April and compare to average of the last 5 year's. Then compare to covid assigned deaths. There's still a big difference.
