Hi guys!

I'm Michael, I'm quite new here and I ended up joining the forum out of desperation. My boss, who is very keen on disaster preparedness wants to throw a birthday party this November 11 (no time yet), and he plans on setting it up as a disaster preparedness training session sort of thing. Basically, I'm looking for people who can host an Emergency Preparedness training session for various disaster scenarios, such as earthquake, biological outbreak, or nuclear attack. He would like his guests to learn how to put on gas masks, fire weapons, and the like. If anyone here is a certified expert or specialist, and willing to help spread knowledge and awareness about disaster preparedness, please DM so we can discuss further details on this.

Thank you very much!

Best,
Michael M

And this will take place in San Francisco, CA? How much are you paying in addition to travel exspences?

I would be traveling from the Ozarks. My fee would depend on the number of people being trained and the exstent of training thats required. The amount and types of equipment that would need to be shipped there (gas masks, weapons, etc..). Will you need weapons or be providing them? Are guns even allowed there and what permits are needed? What accomidations are available in that area?
My first bit of knowledge about disaster preparedness I will share with you is, Do not live anywhere near San Francisco.

You guys should discuss this through private messaging otherwise this thread is bound to get trolled by haters.

Just a recommendation.

I'm glad to see an employer is wise enough to see the value of training. No doubt San Francisco has seen enough disasters to take the risks more seriously, but still so many just look the other way and dismiss prepping as paranoid. I wish our govt took teaching self reliance a little more seriously.
