We had chili and made Peaches and dumplings for dessert .

I made some quinoa tabouleh to go with hummus and pita chips.

I had quinoa tabouleh and hummus with blue corn chips tonight. We actually have some pita chips but used the blue corn chips instead.

Taco soup made by the church ladies. It was delicious and I may have snagged some for supper tomorrow night as well

Irish bangers and mash with some Kilkenny Irish Ale at the Celtic House in Arlington VA.

Don't know what the difference is between English and Irish bangers and mash, maybe bigpaul could enlighten us

Cooked some spaghetti and tomato gravy, made meatballs and grilled Italian sausage. Made French garlic bread. For dessert, fresh local strawberries with cool whip.

Tonight was a salad out of a bag and left over tacos reheated on the wood stove.

A cajun night . Red beans and rice with sausage , shrimp gumbo , cornbread .

Left over Chinese takeout. I’m still not tired of it after three meals allready and still have some left for tomorrow

Some simple baby navy beans with aundoui sausage and pickled pork. Over rice and cornbread muffins.

Spinach salad with pecans, dried cranberries, and mandarin orange slices. I usually eat it with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing but I couldn't find it so I tried a balsamic vinaigrette. It's still good but not quite the same.

Broiled fish, shrimp and potato patties. And for desert a cup of strawberry mango yogurt.

I made a big pot of fried hamburger and sautéed onion, threw in sliced cabbage and soy sauce, Raman noodles, some rice and diced chicken. A little garlic and paprika and I had a redneck version of homemade beef lomain. Sometimes I just crave fried cabbage.

Just got a fire started in the bbq. I've got a nice thick steak marinading in the fridge since yesterday. And as a bonus I found a couple beers on the bottom of the water trough this morning. They've been in there all winter so I guess they should be cold. Life just keeps getting better!

I just made some baked portobello mushrooms, sliced zucchini and roasted asparagus with a slice of mozzarella melted over it. I used a marinade for the mushrooms and zucchini with 2parts soy, 1 part olive oil, a little ginger and garlic. I could market this stuff! I only made enough for lunch but have a sneaky suspicion I will make more for dinner tonight. That way I get to enjoy a glass of wine with it as well.
