National 'Lockdown' coming

I googled several German newspapers. The numbers are growing but very slow, total lockdown back on 28th of Feb. The japanese are VERY obedient people and follow directions to quarantine. All schools were closed early and it is working. Italy and Germany both waited too long, thinking they were NOT third world countries and it would not be sooooo bad. BIG mistakes as we are now seeing...we just got our lockdown last night a 8:00 pm. and there are still cops having to go and break up parties of teenagers in the now empty school parking lots...(I always thought that schools were needed and used to make the next generation a bit smarter???)

I believe the US will pay a price for being so slow to take this seriously. Especially by the youth. The numbers are getting high enough here now that when it doubles it’s a big deal now and will grow exponentially.

Just makes you wanna wonder, what do they learn in the schools nowadays? Do they watch the "Family Guy" , "Simpsons", and other shit too much? All those smart-### little kids on endless TV series which are only there to make us all laugh at their smart-### comments...or are they also there to get the next generation ready to act exactly as smart-### and now put their lives in danger...GP

School here, especially colleges, teach liberalism and that's about it.

Japan? Look at Taiwan!

That's nothing short of miraculous.

Their epidemic response was honed during the SARS epidicmic, which they were not prepared for, but they were prepared this time. They wasted no time shutting off traffic from China and locking things down. And the Taiwanese are not the obedient subjects the Japanese are. But they all recognized the threat immediately - both citizens and government - and took action without delay.

All those East Asian countries bore the brunt of SARS, so they knew what they had to do. South Korea got hit so bad because of that church led by that idiot.

It doesn’t appear the youth are listening even now, unfortunately. There is no way to even slow this thing down without everyone staying home. That isn’t happening and I can’t see any Governor holding people in their houses by force. Can you? With the large number of homeless on the streets in certain cities...there is no way we are stopping the spread. And let’s not even consider the damage Illegals are bringing...and have been bringing!

Respect of others is not taught any longer. God was booted out, but how to “do” the same sex is taught...even pushing that crap in kindergartens. Real learning is out...just look at where we are in the world ranks now. Political everything is pushed hard...socialism and hate anyone who is a Patriot or White.

Have you ever been to Japan. Overall, incredibly clean. Very polite society, and not touchy-feely at all. They already practice social distancing to some degree. I'm not surprised at all that they have stopped it.

BTW, I'm seeing a different strategy than a national lockdown. Different states have different levels of 'need' of a lockdown, so Trump is likely guiding each state to do their own level and supporting it. Minimal need in WV. Maximum need in CA/WA/NY. Let each state adopt as seen fit.

Just in TN yesterday (Friday)the number went up 100 cases overnight. The highest infected age group continues to be that 21-30 age group. Total infected 263 last Monday it was 53. So quite a jump in just a week.

Well at least we don't have to worry about our two millennial children engaging in risky behavior. My daughter has Crohn's and the medicine she takes compromises her immune system, so she normally has to be very careful, and has always carried hand sanitizer and uses it all the time. And my son....well let's just say he has a strong sense of "risk aversion" LOL.
