I love this topic as it is something i write on in many blogs. but so many people forget about the tasty little plants. They can be harvested just like garden plants and many can replace some garden plants.
weeds are merely plants we haven't found a use for.
One of the local weeds I haven't tried yet is Polk Salad (Poke Sallet). Most of the places I see them growing are almost certainly sprayed by insecticides.
I have eaten dandelions and wood sorrel from my yard (I don't spray any chemicals). Those are the only two edible weeds I have identified in my own yard. I'm sure there are more, but those and white clover (also edible I think) are mostly what grows wild in the yard.
exactly, many plants can be used either the leaves or the roots for many uses.
I was just agreeing with you, must have been lost in translation!Than to me that would be a use. Maybe I misunderstood your reply. My apologizes.

We have a thread of weeds that are eatable. Somewhere..
"Accidentally"I just saw a news story about some edible WEED that some people in a Canadian retirement home ended up eating accidentally. Somebody made some homemade brownies. Oops

I smoked enough pot as a teenager for three lifetimes, but once I had my first child stopped and haven’t touched it since. Honestly, in moderation I see no problem with it, and if it was legal I would probably partake occasionally. I don’t feel it is worth the cost of the legal hassle involved currently though. I would imagine within the next five years it will be legal everywhere, but being in Georgia imagine this will be the last state to get their head out of their asses. Either way, I like the idea of brownies or gummies much more than smoking. Being a reformed cigarette smoker, (35yrs ago), I’m not sure I ever want to intentionally inhale smoke again. As long as alcohol is legal I have my way to relax at night and go to sleep with my one glass of wine. Another option would not be a bad thing though.
I don't neccesarily agree with you, but I see your position and your point is reasonable.I have no problem once they find a way to determine when somebody is legally (limit amount like booze) under the influence. As far as I know, there is no recognized amount of consumption that would qualify somebody to be DUI. Next I would want the same restriction on pot as on alcohol and combined with the smoking regulations.
I agree as far as driving goes, not being able to tell how much is in their system is tough. I kind of think a zero tolerance for any drug while driving makes sense though. As far as smoking tobacco, drinking or smoking pot, I think pot is the least disabling or dangerous of the three.I have no problem once they find a way to determine when somebody is legally (limit amount like booze) under the influence.
