We were prepared also. Sold our large home in a big city. Moved way out in the mountains with some land...only 7+ acres, so not enough. Paid for the property and house and have had a large greenhouse built a nice size walk-in chicken house with a covered run built. Had a vineyard put in as well a a small orchard. Also had a large retaining wall built and a good size garden created. I have spent the last 5+ buying long term food and learning skills I didn’t have.
Or illegal! Lived in that disgusting state some years ago. You seriously could not give me enough money to move back to it!
My wife has relatives in NYC and LA. She doesn't understand why I ABSOLUTELY refuse to even talk about moving to one of those places.
Well, thankfully she has YOU! If we ever get to the complete breakdown of society, she will realize how right you are. Let’s pray we don’t.
