Diabetics make up a third of England's Covid hospital deaths

Charities have said people with diabetes must be allowed to work from home or be put on furlough if their jobs put them at risk

One third of all hospital deaths from coronavirus in England have been among diabetics, new research shows, amid warnings that the condition more than doubles mortality risk.

Experts said the major study, which included all patients hospitalised with Covid-19 over 10 weeks, showed that diabetes – which is often fuelled by obesity – is driving Britain's death toll.

Charities said people with diabetes must be allowed to work from home or be put on furlough if their jobs put them at risk.

The research, led by the national clinical director for diabetes and obesity, examined 23,804 Covid-19 deaths in hospitals between March 1 and May 11.

Of those, 7,466 occurred in people with Type Two diabetes, while 365 were in those with Type One of the disease.

Across the country, nine in 10 cases of diabetes are type 2, which is driven by obesity. Two in three adults in the UK are overweight or obese.

This is why the US South has had such a hard time with the virus. A very large percentage of the people are overweight and diabetic, even younger/middle age people.

I hate to be the bearer of conspiracy, but doctors are given 13 grand to call a dead body a Coronavirus death without a test. Anyone with COPD... heart attacks, strokes, even shortness of breath, any pneumonia, any lung condition. They don't test anything they just write corona like they're being incentivized to do. the flu is chalked up to every death especially since hospitals need that money right now.

The average age of someone to die from this is 73. just let you know that the actual disease isn't really making much of a difference to the natural death of people. Since the average person's age in the world is 29.6. if Corona virus were actually causing any more death than the usual it would have a far lower life ending expectancy. At least around 65.... Something below actual life expectancy

I'm not dismissing that diabetes makes the flu hit hard. It's terrible. But we're being stripped of our natural immunities while they're marketing an immunosuppressive hydroxychloroquine to us. Immune system is incredibly hurt by stress and sanitizing. Not to mention vitamin d has been found to be extremely helpful. They studied serum levels of inducted patients. 80% of vit d deficient folk died, which could been fixed by being outside or takin the vitamin. of sufficient vit d folk only a 6% wound up dying.

There's a media sensation telling you not to be healthy and promote your immune system and to maybe even taking immuno suppressives this is weird and the disease is not worth your worries... The worries make you susceptible

Look at the number of dead from all causes since March of this year and compare to the average of the previous 5 years. The difference is your deaths from Corona virus. And take into account all the deaths reduced by people traveling less and safely staying home.

Yes more natural antivirals, sunlight is what's needed. This virus is a real nasty danger, it's a bio weapon and leaves permanent damage to some recovered victims. It doesn't simply go away and is harmless, even after you recover you can still be in danger.

I'm an overweight type II diabetic. I don't have covid. I also go out in public places. Hmmm, guess using common sense works. Same as with the flu.
