I do have such reciepe books too from Germany, motly from WW1 and some from WW2, for civilians and if i'm correct there is an WW1 soldier cooking booklet around as well.
Unfortunately hard to read about the old fonts and old german writing, but very interesting.
Seems like I heard somewhere that Gummy Bears came out of war time Germany .
