There shouldn't be a shortage of free bacon and sausage for anyone in your area.We are over run with wild hogs here, they are really tearing up farms here and ruining crops,
Actually the state wildlife agency is approving a bounty for disposing of the wild hogs! There shouldn't be a shortage of free bacon and sausage for anyone in your area.
I’d go with a short barrel S&W 500 revolver if you can. But a .357 Magnum works also.If your in bear country be sure to hang your food in a tree at night. I'd bring a minimum of a .357 magnum pistol, and or a back pack carbine of the same caliber. How about some hooks and line for fishing? Maybe a few rabbit snares on your longer hikes.
S&W 44 mag here!!I’d go with a short barrel S&W 500 revolver if you can. But a .357 Magnum works also.
ALSO over run with deer and wild turkey, both have become pests!!!We are over run with wild hogs here, they are really tearing up farms here and ruining crops,
I carried a 500 S&W in Alaska, but it seems to be a bit of an over kill in most parts of the lower 48.I’d go with a short barrel S&W 500 revolver if you can. But a .357 Magnum works also.
