A couple of months ago I bought some bananas that I was going to use in Banana Bread. When I peeled that bananas and started to mash them they were just like that! Felt weird and smelled odd. Naturally I threw them out.

That video about Britain is just clickbait nonsense. Laws about life in 2050? The UK government just rescinded it's laws about no gasoline powered cars to be sold by 2030. Listen to what they say with a pinch of salt. As for the global austerity for decades to come, well that was inevitable anyway given the depletion of cheap oil and the massive debts that have accumulated. Call it the Greater Depression, but without $2 a barrel oil to pull us out of it it's over rover for our way of life.
There are always depressions but they are exacerbated by the level of debt and the debt we have accumulated is beyond all rational accounting. Look at the SS funding for the next 50 years, it's only being paid now because the U.S. is borrowing trillions a year. The SS 'fund' is nothing more than a pile of US bonds (Debt) in a filing cabinet. It will simply collapse one day soon and no one will get a cent, just like when the USSR collapsed.
So no cheap oil to rebuild economies with and no 1970's green revolution that increased crop yields by 800%. The reverse in fact as fossil fuel fertilizers made from natural gas and pesticides made from oil become too expensive and farmers have to go back to natural methods. That's happening already across the globe, Russia controls nearly half the production. It's gas remember.
This is the real motive for the climate change fear campaign. To hide from the public the simple truth that the coal and oil age is ending and that you can't pave roads and make concrete and grow abundant food with solar panels (made from oil and coal) Even now oil supply is declining year on year and the result is the collapse of living standards across the globe. As each Year passes we extract less and less and by 2030 people in the UK, where they have no native oil left, will suffer many of the points made in the video as a matter of course.
Forget US shale, that was a scam from the get-go and the figures on oil increases a pack of lies basically. All the Gas liquids go to make plastic bags, which is all it's good for, and the frack oil (mostly gasoline fractions) is produced using vast quantities of diesel to mine and shift the millions of tons of frac sand, drill the endless new wells and then transport the oil away for refining. It's robbing Peter to pay Paul and the only winners are Wall Street, some workers, and the company execs. If you believe otherwise you need to research the matter, not listen solely to media talking heads.

That article is dated June 2020 and is about how COVID was affecting the oil industry at that time, with some prognostications about how things would be post-COVID.

Want to capture a population, restrict their movement (via ridiculously priced EVs, ending cheap sources of energy, and punishing legislation against energy producers). Want to condition a population, bombard them with censorship, government friendly propaganda, and indoctrination programs, (via mainstream media, the supposed education system, DEI and CRT policies and legislation). Want to disable the populations ability to provide for itself, form private/ public partnerships to strong arm industries, devalue the currency thus people's buying power and savings, provide generous benefits to non-citizens (via open borders, ridiculously exorbitant printing of money, open border's policies). Want to bring the population to their knees, have the government enact outlandish environmental restrictions, make the market less competitive, control the centers of production. This has been and always will be about power and control. Half the world is sleep walking their way into a Socialist Marxist/ Fascistic serfdom like sheep being led to the slaughter and the other half is desperately screaming for them to wake up and help to stop it. People better wake up fast because this is not rocket science and no the government does not love or admire the citizens of their respective countries. They are simply satiating animals in an attempt to maintain their power base.

Now that you are avoiding the poison sugar, add seed oils to your list, if you haven‘t already. Seed oils R.I.P. up your organs, tissues, and cellular metabolism.
Sugar is a slow-kill process of extracting as much wealth and health from you from junk food purchases to the medical intervention you will need for a myriad of health issues over long term use. SUGAR and SEED OILS are meant to kill you, just as the vaccines are.
If you have survived the global depop operation so far, make sure you stay healthy and fit to avoid pharmaceuticals and medical intervention which have shown to be deadly to millions.
Remove the seed oils in your fluffed pantries (take them to a food bank) and replace with avocado, olive oil, ghee, and/or animal fats (tallow). Yes, your diet will be different without sugar, refined carbs, and seed oil, but the results are AMAZING.
PROTIP: As you continue to food prep for the collapse, place emphasis on PROTEIN. Many of us have enough beans, rice, flour, and pasta if things get really bad. But for now, all CATS get lean, fit, and healthier through a diet of beef, chicken, pork, fish. For example, remove the bread and cakes from your freezer and replace with protein products.
Find ways to preserve meat - canning ground meat is a great way to keep shelf stable protein. You can make beef jerky in a variety of ways.
Other ideas: Find a powderized protein drink that you like. Then stock up. Protein in a can! Find protein bars, no seed oils and low in sugar, to replace your sweet tooth cravings. Get powderized eggs in a can - great for long term storage of protein. Eggs were the first item I processed in my Harvest Right freeze dryer. Anytime I see a great price on eggs, I buy a few dozen and powderize, but you can also buy eggs like this through Azure and Augason Farms.

Gary, the problem with most seed oils is twofold. One, many contain toxic chemicals that are not harmful in the concentration in the seed, but the oil contains harmful concentrations. This then has to be extracted using solvents like hexane or benzene.
Two, to extract the oil from seeds, it's more economical to use solvents for the extraction.
If you cold press the oil from uncooked seeds, it's possible to get an oil from some seeds that doesn't have traces of the harmful chemicals or solvents and hasn't been oxidized from heat.
Cold Pressed Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is one example. All other forms of coconut oil are suspect.
