Do you shoot IDPA?

It used to be very quiet around me. One neighbor moved in recently, and maybe once a month on a Saturday night will fire off 1,000+ rounds. He has a decent backstop of old RR ties, but it's not 20ft from his house! He usually shoots from within 10-15 yards. It's an accident waiting to happen, but it'll be his problem. At least it's not aimed my direction.

Yep, and that is the reason that people are trying to make gun ownership illegal and start confiscating them (just will not be called confiscation, it will be called buyback or whatever the favorite word of the day is.)

I've said before that it is wise to have more/better weapons & ammo than your local sheriff's office. This is why.
