We have no fat shame in this country. Just amazing where we have come from.
I use to help a old Farmer . He had a 1/2 Pittbull 1/2 German Shepherd that lived to be around 15 . Her last few years He gave her a Aleave once a day . I don't know if that's good or bad advice but it seemed to work for hus dog .Not sure where to ask/post this. Anyone have suggestions on good natural sources for dogs with arthritis, in hips/joints? Mothers australian shepherd (Rufus) has joint issues. She pays for annual vet care plan ($800), plus the meds for flea, tick/heartworm monthly, plus other check ups, lab work, shots, etc. (Albeit w discount from having the "plan")..cost for joint supp is another $89.00 per month (counting "savings" from having the annual plan). She'll be 85 this year! Fixed income. I can research it further (have some alt options already), but any suggestions of what is good, and actually effective based on experience with efficacy, would be greatly appreciated!
I was working in the garden and tilled this guy up . I guess he won't get to " emerge " . The ants got him .
Well, she will get her shock and AHH-HAA effect when you only come in on 3 days a week, she will either be left high and dry or ankle deep in gators....
(and thank God you're still alive so she does not HAVE to replace you at all)

Get some Gabapentin from the vet. Far fewer side affects than a naproxen like Aleve and not that expensive

This is sickening. Couldn’t even watch it for very long. Our society is collapsing right in front of us and so many do not even see it!
We keep Gabapentin in the stock for the dogs. Great stuff!
I have a lot of Gabapentin...it's prescribed for me, but I don't take it. I hoard it (lol)...I didn't find it helpful and I don't want to take it in increased doses, so I don't bother. I know lots who take it, so I figure it'll come in handy at some point. I'll have mother ask about giving it to Rufus.

I have 1 dog that’s had 3 surgeries this year. Knee, removal infected plate, and female plumbing. So been using a lot of Gabapentin.
300mg was too much for a boxer. 2-100mg was enough and still allow some activity. Probably cutting her back to 100mg soon.
We have a lot of it because its part of my wife’s daily regime.

Americans know nothing about real history. Did you know that 12 million Germans were ethnically cleansed after WW2? Did you know half a million of them were murdered for the crime of speaking German? That Children were lined up and shot? “Well over 2 million women and children were raped at the end of the war. Many of them died or killed themself as a result.”In Czechoslovakia, they lined German civilians up (many of whom had lived there for centuries), and ran over their legs with trucks. They forced them to dig their own graves. Not all of them were German. Some of them just spoke German. 12 million German civilians were expelled across Eastern Europe—force stripped of their homes and property and citizenry for the crime of speaking German. Hundreds of thousands of them starved to death. This ethnic expulsion was the largest in human history and yet you’ve never heard about it. Why? I encourage everyone to watch this documentary.

My brother in law, husband of my wifes sister, was carried by his mother from south Chech Republic area after the war, at the age of 4 months, all the way into the Dresden area, further on trucks, further on train, further on foot and after 12 months and 1000 kilometers, found an abandoned farm where all had fled or died and lived there till she could find a family who had to take her in. As he grew, they ate what they foraged, begged, worked for and to this day he still hates anything with noodles or margarine in it as that became their staple food for many years. The whole family was destroyed either by russians, chechs or americans and still today there are only 9 known families with his last name in all of Europe and 3 in America.
