Why does it feel like everyone has money except me?

I've never been 'well off' but I've never been in debt.
My sister on the other hand has so many maxed out credit cards and 1-2 personal loans (at a time) and thinks she's hard done by.

The irony is that she could probabaly get a mortgage/loan for a much bigger house/car than you.

But you're who I'd rather do business with.

What I am saying is that there seems like a total lack of concern by people around me that the events coming are going to be life changing!

What kind of people are you spending time around? Maybe it's a good indication that you should expand your social group.

This is very true. She has a house and car, I have neither. I had a 25% deposit for a house I wanted to buy, and the bank still said no (because I didn't earn enough in their eyes). At least I have a large safety net now, I guess.
