what is the story with california gun laws ??? the state very restrictive ???

last week i traded a 22mag rifle for a new ruger sr22 pistol the whole transaction took all of 20 mins...that included negotiation..lol..

This place sucks.
in order to buy a handgun you have to have a handgun safety certificate (renews every 5 years). You can only buy 1 handgun every 30 days, why?, I have no idea!
You cannot openly carry ANY firearm loaded or UNloaded.
You can't carry loaded in your car. They [ammo & gun] must be separated.
However, you can carry a loaded gun in your home, or place of business, campsite, and i believe motorhome, rv, travel trailer, toy hauler, as they are considered a house.

When my kid is 18 i am moving elsewhere. perhaps back to Las Vegas, Southern Utah, or northern Arizona.
