I know a lot of us here vent about this election, but now the FBI are asking for tips. . . "are aware of an active threat, we urge you to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.” I believe we should be free to discuss the fraud and how we feel about Biden and his policies along with his administration, but be careful NOT to make threats. . .

Robert Lemke was arrested today based on a criminal Complaint filed in Manhattan federal court charging LEMKE with making threatening interstate communications. Lemke allegedly sent threatening text messages on January 6, 2021 to family members of an unnamed New York City-based U.S. Congressman (the “Congressman”) and a New York City-based family member of a journalist (the “Journalist”).
Lemke was arrested in Bay Point, California.
Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said: “As alleged, Robert Lemke was dissatisfied with the results of the 2020 Presidential Election and subsequent statements about the election made by a U.S. Congressman and journalist. Rather than peaceably disagree, Lemke allegedly threatened to harm those individuals’ families, demanding they retract their statements. The electoral process is the essential mechanism through which our democracy functions. While in any election it is inevitable that some will be disappointed in the result, threats of violence cannot and will not be tolerated.”
FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge William F. Sweeney Jr. said: “Lemke’s alleged threats, aimed at the family members of a sitting U.S. Representative and a journalist, crossed a bright line. The FBI’s New York Joint Terrorism Task Force is always on watch, and we act with speed to stop violence – whether the threat comes from within our borders or from outside them. That’s how we do it. As always, it is the partnership with our communities that makes us most effective. If you have any additional information that could benefit this case, or are aware of an active threat, we urge you to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.”

time to get back to prepping topics I think, this is after all a preppers forum not a political one.

I do wish we could keep religion in the religious section.
Or a religious one if we attack a guy for posting Hindu stuff we should do the same for ALL religious posts outside the religious topic section.
Who is to blame for that? A lot of people need to go and look in the mirror to see the source, because the US like my Country had been gradually getting less free since the 60s, But massively since the introduction of the Patriot act.
CIA does the overseas bad guys
FBI does the domestic bad guys
DHS does its own citizens.

I joined pepping forums to discuss prepping stuff not indulge in a political slanging contest, like I said somewhere here we cannot do anything about politics either in the US or UK outside of the ballot box unless someone is really considering restarting the Confederacy!!!

I think....... We can and MUST be able discus CAUSAL factors involving politics and religion as and when their influence can present what our cousins call a clear and present danger. But once we have identified the CAUSAL FACTORS, ( religious intolerance, political oppression etc) we should focus on hopw we as preppers will counter or mitigate against it.
Personally ( again only MY opinion) I consider ALL religions as dangerous and repressive as Communism, Facism, Totalitarianism, or unbridled Capitalism. But I do passionately believe in peoples absolute right to believe in which political system they like and follow which ever deity they want, I just dont want to hear about it when we are discussing preparedness.

yeah and look where its got you, at least we voted down the marxists/communists/lefties in the last general election, the Labour party will be in the political wilderness for many years to come, their new leadership dosent have a clue.
