Thank you for this information!! Yeah, I recently read about the millions of hogs in Texas! But they would be a real blessing if things go south.

Am going to have to make a trip to Texas soon and check out land. Georgia isn’t even trying to stop the steal! Can’t get in touch with any of my representatives. The way it’s looking, IF any States push back on tyranny of the communists coming into power, Texas would be one of them. If you know of any in the areas you named, private post me please.

Any other Texans please send me pieces of land for sale in good areas if you can.

I will look into it. I believe tracts (except small ones) are going for about 2500/acre . I may be wrong but I will look into it... how much are your willing to spend and what acreage are you looking for?

PS: I just found two 55 acre tracts in my county completely undeveloped and wooded for about 2,500/ac each. so my price estimate is close for completely undeveloped woodland. My contractor charges $1,050/acre to MULCH, not clear, anything in his path...(no bulldozer). I mean EVERYTHING IS GONE and all that is left is wood chips and earth, while grinding ny stumps to 12"-18" below ground/ He gets about 2 acres per day done. I want to adopt him! :D

for the counties I mentioned look into: Page 3 - Land for sale, Property for sale in Cherokee County, Texas | Lands of Texas

PPS: I forgot, first question you always ask in Texas............."it any of it in the floodplain?"

Would like to keep it at 200 or less acres. Want to build our own. We could never utilize more than that. How much do you have?

If this is true, it is flabbergasting! Every rotten Dem would get charged. The msm media would be D E A D!!!

What do you think Rellgar?

Well so far I haven't found anything that would show this to be false. It appears to be gaining ground and verified as true.

That tract sounds very interesting! And 55 acres would work nicely.
Your land clearing guy sounds great. Thank you!!! Will take a look. Appreciate the flood question advice!

I only have 66 acres, but I am not a farmer/rancher so my needs are significantly less.
As a side benefit, the topography is slightly rolling in this part of the state, Meaning ponds are easily built.
A LOT of this land is only accessible by logging road easements meaning it is tucked way and not on major highways. To reach my property you have to drive down 3.5 miles of dirt road... it is maintained but off the beaten path. exactly what I wanted.
It is also a dead end road. you have to know where you are going to get there.

Politically, the people here are slightly to the right of Attila the Hun

They will drag this out as long as they can to reinf the idea that even if Trump wins, he is illegitimate. We knew they would cheat and we even knew what states they would do it in. This is their "all in" move at the poker table. However if I had a hand at that poker table and they were cheating, they would have a .44-40 hole in their forehead.

If the Republicans lose this election then they lose AMERICA to the cancer of socialism. Its a one way trip there is NO next time, In the next five years AOC and her chums will ensure millions more migrants enter to US to ensure DEMOCRAT victory in all future elections.

They will promise free money, free healthcare, free education, free housing, liberalised justice system, increased social welfare, and YOU, yes YOU will get to pay for it with increased taxes and leins to support the creation of a SOCIALIST state.

And its clear the patriotic, democratic, republican center right will do NOTHING about having their country stolen by them.

GP,
I'm sorry, I can't agree for you to move to Texas. You'd have to change your login to TexasPeach, or TP. Can't do that to a lovely lady!

Consider Missouri, around the Ozarks. Land is $2k or less for 100+ tracts. With large ponds & running creeks. Beautiful. If you follow Pastor Joe Fox, he's up there.

Here ya go, Peachie. I have spent a lot of time on Realtor.com lately looking for a second piece of land to buy (of course, I'm only looking in the Central TX area). Not sure we're ready to buy just now, with all that's going on. But these 3 properties I saved on realtor.com and they're still available if you're serious. 412 Rohde Rd, Round Top, TX, 78954 | realtor.com® 20 Ac Tbd Walnut Cemetery Rd, Bremond, TX, 76629 | realtor.com® 0000 Industrial Rd, Brenham, TX, 77833 | realtor.com®. All nice areas in general, but you can't see much without going in person to check out a parcel.

Edit: Hmmm. Links aren't working. Let me try to fix those.......................OK, try them now. Finally got the 3rd one to work.

My thoughts are to go to Texas if it looks like war. Can’t be caught here in Georgia. It will never stand. Will look up Pastor Joe Fox. Think I saw him on YouTube...
