The big drawback for me is the lack of a conventional knife blade. The blade on my Wingman is better than most pocketknives I've carried. Once I started carrying the Wingman, I didn't see the need to carry a pocketknife anymore. With the Spirit, I'd need to carry a pocketknife in addition to the multitool.

Do you have an RS? Those look intriguing.

No RS, I wish. I hear ya on the knife blade, it would be nice if the spirit had OHO one hand open blade. I carry a folder " leathermans c33 " so it's never an issue. You might like the wave.

I like this; Leatherman Charge TTI, it has a titanium handle and pliers, with a decent blade.

Yeah that's a good one for sure but you can get the leatherman wave 1/2 the price. Same tools except the strap cutter.

Ya they are pricey, I was able to pick one up for about 125.
