Yep this is the time of year that this tends to happen to me even though I try to stay hydrated as much as possible when working outside, but honestly I do tend to get focused on the project at hand and forget. . . This is the reason I take my goats amoxicillin. First dose of 2 pills, taken at first signs and its already better. I will take 1 more pill in 8 hours and 1 more just to be on the safe side. Then reevaluate and see where to go from there but the 4 normally knocks it out. My mom has suffured from these for years now. I guess I am lucky since it doesn't happen often but summer months is when it usually does. I would love to know alternatives that are not pills.
The summer months of June, July and August can increase your risk for getting a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). Men, women and children can get UTIs, but women are four times more likely than men to get one. Most UTIs are not dangerous and can be treated with medicine.
