In doing that, he lumped anti-fascists - the people protesting against Nazis - in with the Nazis. Y'know, just like the allies and the Nazis were as bad as each other during WW2.

I don't give a rats ### if someone is "racist" or not. Maybe they have their reasons, maybe they just don't like certain people. Either way I don't care. They talk about justice, and white privilege, and basically make me out to be evil, and simultaneously too blind and ignorant to see my own evil, unjust ways. They take words and names that mean something, and use them to mean something else entirely, or to describe someone or something in a way that can't be defended against. " Did you stop masturbating in the closet?" You can't answer yes or no.
I've decided that the percentage of the population that identifies as "left" or "progressive" is insane. Not stupid. Not ignorant, many are much more educated than myself.
When I moved out of Madison, a leftist Paradise on Earth, one of the last things I saw was 2 people sitting on the condo entrance stoop . A weeping transvestite, being consoled by a 300 pound 20 something year woman with bright pink hair and metal sticking out of her face.
I think that's the result of some poor life decisions, weeping on a stoop somewhere. That's the end result of the left's progressive agenda. A young woman who can't be told to go lose weight to save her own life, and a man who is no longer a man, but will never be a woman, either. Lost people. It's sad, really.
And honestly, I recoil from that. I don't want to be around it, in real life. It makes me uncomfortable. Now, you may not care about my comfort, and that's fine. It's my job to see to my comfort.

Being of mixed Jewish and Native American heritage (and some other things--I have been called a mutt), I like to believe that I understand a little about persecution.
I hope you don't abandon the forum. I've gotten a lot of good, solid, usable information here.

Bluejoy, Kevin’s right about there being a lot that’s good on this forum. Some of the far right stuff gets to me as well at times, but even the ones that are far right have good input. I may not agree with it all on issues like global warming and cleaner energy but on other issues where politics aren’t involved there’s a lot of good knowledge to be shared. I guess the best advice I have is just don’t participate in any threads that get your blood pressure up. There are lots of threads that are positive and have good prepping and homesteading info. Besides, Kevin and I need the support!

Seriously though, we may not always agree with each over silly things like "Man caused" global warming or this notion of magical "clean" energy, but we generally treat each other with respect. And all have a lot great informtion to share and I've learned a lot on this site. I guess that there's probably better forums out there for the thin skinned sensitive types than DDPF.
51% of the population is female. That is a very large group of people who have suffered from sexism for thousands of years. It seems a bit more widespread than racism to me. Only 12.6% of the population is black according to the 2010 Census. Perspective.
