I've known fo a long time that there is no privacy anymore. You didn't mention the tv's that can listen to your conversations in your home, wether they are on or off. Technology is both wonderful, and scary.

As long as there is some sort of technology around, someone will always be watching or listening.

privacy so overrated ;) ,it's so absolutely fantastic that you can't even take a dump and someone is listening..or watching :(

but those bus cams have been in use here for long now and strangley enough helped to solve alot of petty robberies done by gangs of not so integrated youth

Yeah, it's a two edged sword. All the monitoring does help with security, and in today's world that's becoming more and more important. I kind of figure that if you're not doing anything illegal then a loss of privacy isn't so bad of a trade off.

on a lighter note, the traffic cams have sent me two traffic violations in two months. I vowed to never go down that street again. I went twice and got tickets both times.

Slow down for Christs' sake! Tickets are too darn expensive now days. ( this applies to yellow/red lights too). :)

Yeah, it was red lights. Once I was behind an 18 wheeler and couldn't see the light and when I got to the point 8 could see, the light had changed. The next time it was my fault. My daughter was having a biopsy and I was rushing to get there. That extra minute was so important. Lol
